This futuristic control tower won the RSUA Design Award for excellence in Architectural Design in Northern Ireland. The project began with the aspiration to provide a unique facility to promote the safety and comfort of its patrons using contemporary Architecture to create a landmark icon in the sport. Constructed to high specifications on three levels, the building is part of the third phase in a major development at Healey Park and comprises a modern retail unit, state-of-the art media centre and control room. It’s a strong example of innovation in design linked with practical thinking, its interior features calm quiet spaces, juxtaposed with balconies where visitors can soak up the live atmosphere of the crowd below.
