This modular building provides 12 general classrooms, a Technology Department, Art Studio, and ancillary spaces. Located within the grounds of Gaelcholaiste Dhoire at Dungiven Castle, the building was designed to meet DENI handbook requirements while carefully protecting the listed castle building and historic Bawn Wall.
The scale, form, and massing respond sensitively to the site’s heritage. The building form references the surrounding mountains, while the material palette sits quietly within the green landscape and existing mature trees.
